Verzerrungen ("Distortions") is a composition for three electric basses. It is made up of eight parts in which rock-riffs are distorted rhythmically.
The piece is conceived such that while the musicians stand in the middle of the room, the loudspeakers are positioned in the corners. The sound can thus be heard from different directions at the same time.
