The tunes played by the A3XX-bigband are based on samples that Christian Ribas recorded from musicians of the bigband. The compositions and arrangements relate to loops of these samples.
Specific noises that are created while playing instruments are brought to the fore and layered to grooves. A musician triggers and processes the loops live.
